READy+ is a structured remedial programme designed to improve literacy and numeracy levels among primary school students who are struggling to read, write, and count.
Developed based on research into post-pandemic learning loss, this programme provides capacity building, teaching tools, and school-based support to empower teachers and help students catch up.
A Nationally Mandated Programme
READy+ is one of the key initiatives under Program Anak Kita – a national education reform agenda powered by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the Ministry of Education (MOE), and supported by Yayasan Hasanah.
This recognition affirms READy+ as a strategic intervention aligned with Malaysia’s efforts to address post-pandemic learning loss, especially in literacy and numeracy. By being selected as part of this national movement, READy+ is not only delivering results at the school level but also contributing to systemic change across the country.

The programme objectives:
- Improve literacy and numeracy among lower-performing students.
- Build the capacity of remedial teachers, heads of panels, and school counsellors.
- Foster an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all.
